What is the difference between an invoice and a receipt?
An invoice asks for payment. A receipt confirms that a payment was made. You usually send an invoice first and a receipt after the customer pays.
What should a receipt include?
Your business name and contact details, a receipt number, the date of payment, what was paid for, the amount and any tax, and the payment method.
Is this receipt generator really free?
Yes. There's no account, no watermark, and no limit on normal use. Your business details are saved in your browser so the next document is faster. To make the PDF, the document is sent to our server, rendered in memory and discarded. We never store it.
